Busy

Since I last posted, I've pretty much had 4 hectic weeks, both at work, and while studying for my CA, to the stage where I get home at 9 and feel like collapsing into bed. It's been a busy time at work, with year end work (such as closing accounts, preparing financial reports and trying not to listen to managers complain about the injustice of me refusing to process transactions which can't be processed in a new financial year) taking up most of my waking hours in the first 3 weeks.
The past week has been taken up by my extension project, which is a project that applies what is taught in the CA course in a practical situation. Usually, the projects are to be done in groups of 4. My group was meant to have 4, but 1 changed locations, reducing our group to 3. Then, another group member dropped out, reducing the "group" to 2. That made for a heavy workload, which meant that leaving the office at 8 was an early night. Fortunately year end related work is almost finished, and the project's handed in, so I should have a less busy time.
In case anyone is wondering, I seem to be coping with the content and I'm finding the CA program not being as hard as what other people say, but that might be due to this module being the introductory one. However, that opinion might change after the exam, which is in a month's time.
