Halfway through tax (& what's happening with late night TV?)
It's been a busy 4 weeks, mainly spent at work. For some reason, I find that I study better at work, so i've been spending most of my time there, either working, or studying. The obligatory assignment has come and gone, and i'm expecting the results on Friday.
One result of the extended study sessions is that I have not watched much TV. One night early on in the unit, I turned on the TV expecting the Late Show with David Letterman to be on, but this was on instead. Thinking that is was a one off, I changed channels, and to my dismay, the other options were quiz show amateur hour, where they found work experience kids & put them on TV, or the show that started it all, where ex Big Brother "stars" work off their contracts. Unfortunately, that means no Letterman (for the most part) or other intellegent programming. However, given a choice between those shows and informercials, you would choose the game shows, which as David Letterman would say, isn't anything. Fortunately, there is something different on most nights. Maybe I should get Foxtel...
Edit: Winnie, get well soon.
