Quarterly summary

Wow - it's been 3 months since the last entry. A lot has gone on since then, both at work and at home. (I also need to update more often)

Work has been busy, with the implementation of the new system taking longer than planned (which isn't surprising, as there didn't seem to be enough resources dedicated to the project), as well as the usual year/month end duties. During this period, there were a couple of people leaving, which stretched the resources further, which is never fun.

Away from work, there was a wedding, a visit from my sister (who is currently working in Hong Kong) who brought back a decent mobile phone, which means that i've just about caught up.

Meanwhile, i'm leading a Bible Study group this year, which is very challenging, but very encouraging to see people enthusiastic and interested in studying the Bible.

In brighter news, I start a different role in the department tomorrow. The role will be very different to what i'm currently doing, but is a very useful skillset to have. The additional pay also helps. My current manager wasn't impressed with the move, because it means the team is down to 2 (from 5) until the end of the month.

Anyway, something which I don't think will be seen on Australian TV - Gospel Songs in Prime Time
