Commie's 26th

I was invited to Commie's 26th surprise birthday on Saturday night. It was a murder mystery party which was held in the City. The scenario: A shady character gets killed hours before he was to be married, with everyone having a motive for killing him.
It was a fun night, and I suspect that was a big reason why nobody picked the killer, but I don't think anyone cared. There was a lot of fun banter, as well as singing & dancing, and even magic!
One interesting thing was the cake for a birthday - a choc-caramel swirl cake shaped as an Ethiad A380 - very interesting.

Meanwhile, in mundane news, I seem to be coping with my new role at work, even with the rest of the team on study leave. However, it would be preferable if everyone is on deck, but that can't be helped.

Some interesting reading: How US soldiers killed in Iraq are returned to the US for burial.
Also, it's amazing that the candidates in the US Presidential Election agree on the major theme for the election.

Sounds like an interesting party! Did you get any photos of the cake?
Oh, and who was the killer?

I have a photo somewhere, which I will post soon, and the killer was the old lady whom nobody suspected.
