New corporate vision

There was a very fun session at work today, where the new corporate vision & strategy was unveiled. Unfortunately, the whole session sounded like something out of unit 1 of the Management Accounting/strategy course I studied earlier this year, and was just as boring. At least there were free Drumsticks afterwards...

This morning, the drive to work was twice as long as usual, with traffic banked up to just outside where I turn out to the main road. It turns out that someone wasn't too happy with the bus he was on, and wanted out. As a result, massive traffic jams, and getting to work 20 minutes late...

Grave to Glory

I spent Saturday at a conference, where we looked at the reserruction of Jesus and the implications of that event. It was a very good day, with a few timely reminders. It was also very encouraging to see many people whom I haven't seen for a few years and catch up with them.
All in all, a productive and useful day.
